Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is a sacred space for listening, reflection, and connection—where you’re gently invited to notice how God is present and moving in your everyday life. Its roots trace back to early Christian monasticism, especially among the Desert Fathers and Mothers of the 3rd–4th centuries, who offered wisdom and guidance to seekers. This tradition evolved through the centuries in Christian mysticism, notably in the writings of saints like Teresa of Ávila, and Ignatius of Loyola. Carried forward by modern mystics like Barbara Holmes, Henri Nouwen, and Howard Thurman. This practice offers companionship on your spiritual journey, wherever you find yourself.
Today, many are finding their way to spiritual direction while navigating questions about faith, healing from church hurt, or longing for a more spacious and authentic relationship with God. Whether you're deconstructing, rebuilding, or simply exploring, spiritual direction can be a place to rediscover trust in your own inner knowing and Divine intuition—an invitation to reconnect with God, yourself, and a deeper sense of belonging.
